Mark43 Reduces DC Metro’s Reporting Time By Up To 80%, 238,000 Hours Per Year

Mark43 is repairing the connective tissue of society by giving police officers time to be back in the communities they serve rather than being spent on paperwork.

Since implementing Mark43’s Record Management System (RMS) in 2015, Washington D.C. Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) has reduced arrest report administration and repetitive data entry by up to 80 percent, equating to 238,000 hours of report writing time per year — effectively the equivalent of hiring an extra 110 police officers.

….effectively the equivalent of hiring an extra 110 police officers.

This new found efficiency means first responders and police officers can spend even more time serving as the guardians of DC’s communities. This is a direct example of the Govtech Fund’s mission of investing in startups that are repairing the connective tissue of society. We couldn’t be prouder to be partnered with Mark43.
