SeamlessDocs Announces $7.5 million Series B Funding

Expands core services with new Government Relationship Management platform and Service Center

SeamlessDocs announced today that it has raised $7.5 million in a Series B round, bringing the total funds raised to $18.5 million since its launch in 2011. Govtech Fund has been a long-standing partner of SeamlessDocs and is pleased to have them as one of its founding portfolio companies.

SeamlessDocs is modernizing a critical government operation: the dreaded “government form”. By eliminating the need to manually complete, scan, mail-in and process paperwork, SeamlessDocs is helping to combat the stereotype that governments are slow to move and their methods for communications are outdated. SeamlessDocs powered government forms — and their related internal digital workflows — improve transparency and reduces friction for both citizens’ and government employees’, restoring confidence in government operations that ultimately repairs the role that government plays as society’s “connective tissue”.

SeamlessDocs has expanded its current product suite and will further invest in a fully digital, paperless government. This new Series B funding will be used to advance the newly-launched Government Relationship Manager (GRM®), a custom and interactive data management platform for governments and citizens to track and manage workflows on specific permits and applications. The funding will also advance SeamlessDocs’ Service Center platform, which allows customers to consolidate all of their forms in one place.

While SeamlessDocs has historically worked with cities (now numbering in the hundreds), the company is increasingly experiencing demand from US states where there can be tens of thousand of forms that need to be modernized in just a single state. Over 27 million citizens have submitted forms through the SeamlessDocs platforms, resulting in tens of millions of dollars saved by governments on processing costs.

SeamlessDocs co-founder and CEO, Jonathon Ende, “Government is Beautiful…we are so excited to put more resources towards fulfilling our mission of creating beautiful government interactions.”

“SeamlessDocs is at the forefront of modernizing one of government’s most frequent touchpoints: forms,” noted Ron Bouganim, Managing Partner of the Govtech Fund. SeamlessDocs provides government employees and citizens the software tools that make internal and external government forms interactions and workflows simple, reliable and streamlined.”

Congrats to the entire SeamlessDocs team!
